How to use them

The 4-step method my students use

01

Read the chapter note

Once, slowly. Look at every diagram and redraw the key ones from memory.

02

Do the quick check

Each note ends with questions. Cover the answers and test yourself honestly.

03

Practise a paper

Generate a topical paper on the same chapter and mark it with the mark scheme.

04

Read the exam sheet

Before the exam, read only the sheets for your subject. Nothing new, just recall.

Quick answers

Frequently asked questions

Are these notes free?

Yes. Every chapter note, topic note and exam special is free to read online and to download as a PDF. You are welcome to share them with friends, but not to sell them.

Which boards and subjects are covered?

Cambridge IGCSE Mathematics 0580, Physics 0625, Chemistry 0620 and Biology 0610; Cambridge International AS & A Level Mathematics 9709 and Physics 9702; and the IB Diploma Mathematics: Analysis and Approaches, Mathematics: Applications and Interpretation, and Physics, at SL and HL.

Do the IGCSE notes cover Core and Extended?

Yes. Extended-only (Supplement) content is clearly tagged EXTENDED, so Core students know what to skip.

How are SL and HL handled in the IB notes?

Each IB note covers SL and HL together. Higher-level-only content is tagged HL ONLY, so SL students can skip it.

How do I download a note as a PDF?

Tap PDF next to any note, or Download PDF at the top of a note. The file saves straight to your phone or computer, ready to print or revise offline.

Who writes the notes?

Riyaz Shaikh ("Riyaz Sir"), a Mumbai-based mentor with 15+ years of experience teaching IGCSE, IB and A Level one-to-one, writes the Maths, Physics and Chemistry notes. The IGCSE Biology notes are by Aiza Shaikh ("Aiza Ma'am"), an IGCSE Biology educator.

Stuck on a chapter?

Notes help. A mentor helps more.

If a chapter still doesn't click, message me. Fifteen minutes is usually enough to know if one-to-one mentoring is the right fit.
